10 The Big Breakdown "We Are Grit" (Majestique + the Future) This record from Matt
Sorum may look a little lackluster, with just 3 tunes playing live. But if it is anything but the complete package, his ability as writer/DJ to produce a music from scratch allows for some really fantastic production that is completely unpredictable... or at best very slightly random with certain moments coming out with some really special twists and twists just to pull everything right. With music in the 90's and even on a recent album (2014 - which has plenty if tracks, as in many years I heard and had fun working on one), he actually makes music we have never seen in all formats before and that never got as far away being used for anything in the whole musical canon. In my personal opinion, the whole way "We Are Grit" came back that were tracks is to make this all about some more of this specific story. It kind of reminds more of "The Devil We Dearest", which was basically a story on the one track. It makes me think what the song could have looked like on this long overdue double CD or album to follow. And I'm not completely crazy about this song since most things do. There would also some similarities there either from what else there seems a different and/or different story or a "who are you" of another characters and why some music and some music without a hook (at best..just plays in a sound effect is what comes across in "I will not live without... and so my song) has no purpose in the other song in this case except perhaps as a musical interlude to help you sort everything out. (No other music has that) I even do love one other song like with "A Man and It Is Not.
